About Me

My writing appears in various literary journals (Grist, Michigan Quarterly Review, Catapult), humor publications (McSweeney’s Internet Tendency, The Belladonna, Points in Case), and other venues. Meaningful support has come from the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference, the Maryland State Arts Council, the Lawrence Foundation Prize, and many terrific humans. I teach creative and professional writing at the University of Maryland, College Park.
